Returns the ASCII value of the first character of a string.

Parameters:

• $character (string)

Returns: int

Availability

• Compiled (AOT): supported by the Elephc code generator.
• eval() (magician interpreter): supported — declarative interpreter builtin (crates/elephc-magician/src/interpreter/builtins/string/ord.rs).
