Creates a file with a unique filename.

Parameters:

• $directory (string)
• $prefix (string)

Returns: string

Availability

• Compiled (AOT): supported by the Elephc code generator.
• eval() (magician interpreter): supported — declarative interpreter builtin (crates/elephc-magician/src/interpreter/builtins/filesystem/tempnam.rs).
